Parker Wallace, from WhatsonParkersPlate.com, did a media tour for Western Dairy Association. WDA was featured on five stations in Colorado and Montana, promoting dairy farmers and dairy foods.

Skyview Middle School student Roddy Lewis is honored as a National Ambassador for Fuel Up to Play 60 with a special assembly at his school. He was interviewed by KRDO:
Denver Bronco and Fuel Up to Play 60 Player Representative David Bruton visited William (Bill) Roberts K8 School in Denver for a special assembly during National School Breakfast Week. Bill Roberts introduced Grab-N-Go breakfast and saw breakfast participation with sixth through eighth grade students triple in just a few weeks. Bruton also kicked off the spring Fuel Up to Play 60 campaign, Fuel Greatness. The Denver Broncos, Denver Public Schools and YourHub.com all ran articles about the event.
The Castle Pines Connection ran an article about Buffalo Ridge Elementary’s physical education teacher Ronda Gutierrez, who was former Fuel Up to Play 60 State Ambassador Lauren Champine’s Program Advisor at the school.
Additionally, the Fort Morgan Times featured Norm Dinis and Empire Dairy in an article detailing the history of the dairy and the Dinis family.
A Miles the Mascot assembly was held at Denver’s Edison Elementary to kickoff Fuel Up to Play 60 at the school and announce a school cafeteria refresh by Leprino Foods.
A second Miles assembly was held at Bryant-Webster K-8 in Denver to kick off the Fuel Up to Play 60 program at the school and announce a playground refresh to be completed by Leprino Foods volunteers.
In Green River, Wyo., Wyoming Fuel Up to Play 60 State Ambassador Brad presented new breakfast recipes to the Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees to be considered for school menu items. His presentation was written up in the local newspaper – the Rocket-Miner, as well as picked up by the Associated Press.
