As a representative of dairy farm families in Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, Western Dairy Association’s (WDA) mission is to grow demand for dairy products by helping consumers, schools and civic, business, and health / wellness leaders to understand the value of versatile, abundant dairy product provided locally by “best in class” dairy farm families.
Through mutually beneficial partnerships with local schools, businesses and other organizations, WDA promotes the invaluable benefits of dairy products. From school breakfast to the Fuel Up to Play 60 program with the Denver Broncos and family health initiatives, today’s dairy farmers are providing solutions to enrich mealtime, combat childhood obesity and promote healthy lifestyles which includes choosing low-fat and fat-free milk, cheese, yogurt and better-for-you meal options.
We also want to introduce you to your local “world-class” dairy farmers, who take great pride and care in managing their animals and natural resources and in annually producing millions of gallons of fresh, safe quality milk for local purchase.
